Beginner's Kayaking - Warwickshire

AdventureMatters has teamed up with Brookbank Canoe and Kayaks Warwickshire to bring a series of Introduction to Paddlesport days for people who wish to gain a foundation of skills in kayaking and / or canoeing.

We will be running a series of introductory courses along with improver’s courses and even the opportunity to paddle to the historic Warwick castle. 

Aimed at the complete beginner looking to start kayaking or as a useful refresher for those who may have kayaked in the dim and distant past.

Overview
This one day course looks at basic Paddlesport techniques in both canoes and kayaks and is run along the BCU 1 star syllabus with options for assessment.

Venue: Grand Union Canal and or River Avon

Previous Experience & Other Requirements
Minimum age 10 years old. Children under 16 must be accompanied on the water by an adult.
