Introduction to Canoeing & Kayaking (BCU 1 Star). This two day course is designed to give you foundation skills in canoeing or kayaking & the varied types of paddle sport. Whether you see yourself exploring placid waterways & lakes or descending white water rapids, it all starts here. Starting on our lake teaching the basic paddle skills, then moving on to local rivers putting your newly learned skills into practice. For the younger ones there is the opportunity to start the exciting British Canoe Union 'Paddle Power' program of awards and the older ones to complete their British Canoe Union UKCC one star award or work towards the UKCC two star if desired.
